Hello my Dears....
today i will show you how to create this smokey look which is one of my all time favorites.
I consider that smokey eyes can be worn for night outs, for dates, for club and why not during the day...if you are brave enough ;)))...
I am from this kind of persons that are brave enough and i wear make up that shows my mood in that day...
Smokey eyes for me is one of the most sensual and sexy make ups...It
can accentuate your sensuality and gives you an excellent air of STRONG
WOMAN...
SO LETS BEGIN...
The most important is to apply a black base (in case of this make up). It will help you to get that darkness and strong base for your further work.
On the top of your base apply Black eyeshadow or Grey...depends on how you want your make up to be. In my make up i used grey eyeshadow so when i go out from house during the day people will not look at me strange...especially in Italy where women don't use a lot of make up and don't care about themselves... The only day they put make is is their wedding day ;))).
TRICK: if you want to wear this make up during the day i recommend using DARK GREY/DARK GREEN and DARK PURPLE/DARK BURGUNDY colors instead of black...If there is a night out make up than you can use BLACK without even thinking.
After applying your eyeshadow you need to blend the edges very well. For that use an eyeshadow that is close to your skin color. Blend the colors slightly above your crease area, this way your eyes will look bigger.
TRICK: Blending is the key of a perfect make up. Take your time and blend everything well. DON'T BE LAZY...BLEND, BLEND, BLEND...;)))
For highlighting use a beige/white eyeshadow under your brow-bone. The same one use it to highlight your inner corners. This way you will brighten/lighten up your eyes. Simple but essential for a perfect make up.
TRICK: if you want to open up your eyes always use highlight in your inner corners and brow-bone.
To add some drama line your waterline, upper and bottom lash-lines with a black Soft Kohl.
TRICK: smudge the eye pencil to soften your lines, this way you will have that smokey effect that we wanted since the beginning. Last but not least !!! Apply your favorite mascara that works best for you...:) TRICK: for an extra drama, since we are drama queens in this make up ;))), apply falsies...this way your success will be guaranteed...
AND THE EYES ARE FINISHED HERE...:)))...
Face make up is something particular for each person...I have sensitive skin and i said NO to LIQUID FOUNDATIONS... the only thing i use is First moisturize my face, then apply concealer to conceal all my imperfections and redness. Under my eyes i use also concealer to hide dark circles. Over the top i apply powder...
!!! But you do your regular face routine that works best for you :))) !!!
At the end contour your face...but don't forget about your face shape. Contouring can hide or accentuate your face imperfections. So take your time, look in the mirror, study your face shape and learn to contour your face in a correct way. Use contouring for your own good not the opposite...
Blush and highlight will complete your face make up...these are steps that are oppositional but in my opinion are essential for a perfect make up look.
TRICK: highlight your Cupid's Bow for a feeling of fuller lips :)))
For your lips use a nude colors. Line your lips with a nude lip liner and then apply lipstick. On the top use a nude lip-gloss to add some brightness. This color will leave the accent on your eyes and will create a perfect balance at the end. Now we will have crazy, vibrant, accentuated eyes and calm lips...
TRICK: to create a fuller lips(without surgery ;)))) line your lips slightly above your natural shape and create a straight line on the top of your cupid's bow...this will create a fuller lip INSTANTLY...and believe me it works ...:)))
